I always try to look at everything that’s happened as a learning experience, whether it’s good or bad. Bad moments are definitely ones to learn from, get strength from and improve on.

But moments have to be mixed in with the rest I think because otherwise it’s jumping from emotional high to emotional high and that doesn’t cause a great equilibrium or sustainable way to live. That’s like junkie behavior.

So maybe we just have to celebrate the moments that are amazing, recognize the ones that we’re meant to learn from and weave them into ultimately – how we want our life to look – which I know for me means family, friends, love, giving back and feeling like I lived each day better than the last.

Totally caught up on my need for a “Karen fix” with reading some of your last posts – keep it up!
